Hey, I'm Lauren!
I loved my faculty position when I started, but toward the end of my 14 years in academia, I was burnt out, underpaid, and bitter. I loved working with students but higher ed and my institution weren't what they once were. I was proud of my academic career but knew I was ready for a new chapter. And this has been the BEST chapter yet!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know what kind of consultant I want to be before I join??
No. This experience is designed to help you figure that out. We’ll guide you through identifying your best-fit consulting direction based on your skills and interests.
What if I’m still working full-time in academia?
Perfect — most of our participants are. You’ll learn what part-time consulting could look like and how to start small before deciding whether to stick with part-time consulting or make it your full-time gig.
Is this about starting a business?
Not yet. This is about understanding how consulting works and where you fit. You’ll leave with clarity and a plan to move forward confidently. If you want support taking on a first client, we've got you covered. And if you decide to you want to build a business, we have a program for that too.
How long will I have access?
You’ll keep access to the course forever so you can revisit materials anytime. We recommend you finish the course by Thanksgiving (end of November). We will schedule the coaching call at your convenience in the first two weeks of December.
